The purpose of this page is to set realistic expectations and distinguish cosmetic vehicle care from repair, mechanical work and guaranteed perfection.
1. General website information
Website content, videos, prices, examples and articles are general information only. They are not mechanical, engineering, insurance, legal or manufacturer advice and do not replace an in-person vehicle assessment.
2. Website design and content support
This website was designed and developed with support from a web design and SEO service provider, using the content, information and approvals supplied by AutoDetailByJeet Limited.
AutoDetailByJeet Limited remains responsible for its business information, services, pricing, policies, claims and future website updates. The service provider’s role is limited to website design, development and SEO implementation based on the material and directions provided by the business.
3. Results vary by vehicle
Photographs and videos show particular vehicles under particular conditions. They do not guarantee an identical result for another vehicle.
Results depend on age, condition, previous repairs, paint depth, material type, contamination, damage, use, storage, maintenance and the agreed scope.
4. Paint correction limitations
- Paint correction improves suitable swirl marks, haze and clear-coat defects; it does not guarantee removal of every scratch.
- Deep scratches, exposed primer, stone chips, dents, corrosion and paint failure may require body or paint repair.
- Safe correction may be limited on thin, repainted, previously polished or uncertain paintwork.
- Wet sanding or aggressive correction is separately assessed and is not automatically included.
5. Ceramic and specialty coating limitations
Coatings support gloss, water behaviour, chemical resistance and easier maintenance on suitable, properly prepared surfaces. They do not make a vehicle scratch-proof, stone-chip-proof, maintenance-free or permanently clean.
Expected durability depends on the selected coating system, preparation, vehicle use, storage, maintenance and manufacturer terms.
Leather, glass and wheel coatings do not repair cracking, dye loss, corrosion, kerb damage, failed finishes, damaged glass or other pre-existing defects.
6. Paint Protection Film limitations
PPF helps reduce damage from stone chips, road debris and suitable abrasions on covered areas. It cannot prevent every impact, puncture, edge lift, stain, accident, vandalism or damage outside the covered area.
Film appearance, edges, seams and coverage depend on vehicle shape, selected package, film system and installation method. Manufacturer warranties are subject to their own terms.
7. Engine bay and sensitive components
Engine bay detailing is cosmetic cleaning of accessible areas and is not a mechanical inspection or repair. Pre-existing electrical, mechanical, sealing, corrosion or water-ingress issues may not be visible before work.
We may decline or limit cleaning around unsafe, modified, exposed or deteriorated components.
8. Interior limitations
Some stains, odours, dye transfer, mould, burns, wear, cracking, biological contamination and material damage cannot be fully removed or may return.
Aggressive cleaning may be unsuitable where material condition is weak, previously repaired or colour-unstable.
9. Pricing and availability
Website prices are indicative starting points unless expressly stated otherwise. Final pricing and availability depend on inspection, scope, vehicle condition, size, preparation and materials.
10. Legal effect
This disclaimer forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Nothing in it excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for loss caused by pre-existing conditions, undisclosed faults, inaccurate information, misuse, failure to follow aftercare or events occurring after vehicle collection.
